What is the Mission of the Program?
The mission of the program is to identify the health, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of men having difficulty accessing and participating in the lives of their children; to provide direct intervention at Adam’s House when possible; and to facilitate linkages to other programs that enhance healthy manhood/fatherhood development.

What Does the Program Wish to Achieve?
  1. Ensure that men of all ages come to understand the importance of fatherhood, to value their role in parenting their children, and to see successful fatherhood as a primary goal in life.
  2. Redefine fatherhood as a male - not female - decision
  3. Reunite disconnected fathers with their children
  4. Ensure that undocumented support of children by absent fathers is recognized by the courts in Child Support Enforcement hearings
  5. Increase community awareness of the importance of fatherhood and the value of fathers in child development
  6. Provide a way for incarcerated fathers to retake control of their lives and the lives of their children in a positive and constructive manner
  7. Bring recognition to fathers who quietly and effectively father their children year after year to successful adulthood

Who Can Come to Adam’s House?
Males of all ages are welcome. Special programs include young males ages 10-25 and fathers ages 15-35. The sports program includes all males participating in sports events.
